"Leseding has made my dream come true" when i think back in 1998 of the condition of the library at my school compared to the difference that Ilitha-leseding foundation has brought by donating more books, and keeping it open with the provision of a ful time qualified librarian it brings tears to my eyes Mrs Jonasa- Sinethemba Senior Secondary School Phillipi, Western Cape. Ilitha-leseding has give me the platform to make a difference to the community that i serve as well as a job opportunity that gave me a meaningful career as a librarian at Sinethemba Secondary school...i was an unemployed Qualified B.Bibbl graduate now i am employed as a paid volunteer and i am loving my working with the learners, the school and the Ilitha Partners- Lunathi Mahobe, New Librarian recruited by Ilitha-leseding Foundation, 2011. Ilitha-leseding foundation has surely made a difference to the outcome of good learners at my school, allowing them to the opportunity to implement their programs at my school to the learners has trully brought a light to many that didnt know what was out there and what they wanted to do after completing matric, now my learners are going to take informed decisions when they choose careers to follow...i will say to Ilitha-leseding Foundation "keep rising and shining" ...Mr Poopedi- Principal at Sinethemba Senior Secondary School, Phillipi township, Western Cape. |
